Landscape Works with hydrangea sky.
I took these photos along HWY 22 on my to a Ringo Star concert. All images are made completely of botanicals. Dark purple petunia dries black. It’s my go to for that dark coloring on the trees. I was cutting out the tiniest pieces of this product to make the tree branches. Then I discovered this lovely fern root. It had the form and color I needed for the branches! Ferns represent fascination in the language of flowers. They are also said to have magical powers. You can evoke the illusion of invisibility by sprinkling some of the bracken about of putting a few pieces in your pocket.
Mosses and assorted lichen lend a lovely color and motion for the tree foliage. I used some bug eaten hibiscus for the clouds. It worked perfectly. Who knew something so simple could be so good?
This Landscape image contains hydrangea used for the blue sky. The clouds are formed with insect eaten hibiscus. Tree trunks were formed from carefully trimmed petunia, and mosses. Paper bark forms the land in the background.
